Hours viewed – 3:30pm-5:30pm

3:30pm – There are no customers in the restaurant. Tara is standing near the register. Taylor goes to the register and rings in an employee discounted order for herself. (Order #001-67902) She processes her cash payment then goes to the kitchen to work on her order.

3:32pm – Tara dumps a pot of coffee, rinses the pot, and loads it on a dishwasher rack.

3:34pm – Tara sits on the soup counter, checking her phone.

3:38pm – Taylor plates her food, sets on the break table, then goes to the register and clocks out for break. Tara stands around near the register.

3:40pm – Tara sits on the soup counter again, checking her phone.

3:45pm – Tara gets up and unloads cups from the dishwasher and puts them away.

3:47pm – Tara grabs a newspaper and sits on the soup counter with it.

3:49pm – Tara gets up and collects the sugar dispensers from table caddies to refill.

3:54pm – Tara goes to the kitchen and restocks the fridges.

3:58pm – Tara sits on the soup counter again, checking her phone.

4:00pm – Tara gets up and goes to the supply room.

4:02pm – Tara exits the supply room and goes back to sitting at the soup counter.

4:09pm – Taylor returns from break and clocks back in. Tara gets up and rings in a no beverage order for herself. (Order #001-67904)

4:10pm – Taylor goes to the restroom. Tara stands around near the register.

4:12pm – Taylor returns from the restroom. Tara clocks out for break and leaves.

4:13pm – Taylor gets herself something to drink then stands around near the register checking her phone.

4:19pm – An online order comes in. (DD Order #999-20239) The restaurant phone rings and Taylor answers it. She then goes to the kitchen to work on the online order.

4:25pm – A delivery driver enters and sits at the counter.

4:30pm – Taylor packs up the online order, hands it to the delivery driver at the counter and leaves. Customers 1&2 enter together and sit at a table. Taylor greets them, rings in their drink order on a handheld, then gets them their drinks. (Order #005-31860)

4:32pm – Taylor rings in the rest of the order for customers 1&2 then goes to the kitchen to work on it.

4:40pm – Customer 3 enters and sits at a booth.

4:41pm – Taylor plates the order for customers 1&2 and takes it out to them.

4:42pm – Taylor greets customer 3 and goes to the register to ring in his order. (Order #001-67904) Tara returns from break, clocks back in on a handheld, then goes to the kitchen to work on orders. Customers 4&5 enter together and sit at the counter.

4:44pm – Taylor gets customer 3 his drink and soup. She then greets customers 4&5, rings in their order, then gets them their drinks. (Order #001-67905)

4:45pm – An online order comes in. (DD Order #999-20240)

4:47pm – Customer 3 hands Taylor cash to pay for their order. She takes it to the register to process payment.

4:48pm – Tara plates an order and takes it out to customer 3. she then returns to the kitchen to work on the remaining orders. Taylor packs up the chili for the online order.

4:51pm – Taylor goes to the kitchen to prep a fresh pot of soup/chili.

4:54pm – Tara packs up the online order and sets it on the counter. Taylor checks on customers and stands around near the counter. Tara is still in the kitchen working on orders.

4:59pm – Taylor gets customers drink refills. A delivery driver enters to pick up the online order. Taylor hands him the order and he leaves.

5:00pm – Customers 1&2 hand Taylor a card to pay for their order. Taylor takes it to the register to process their payment. She then goes to the kitchen where Tara hands her the plated order to take to customers 4&5.

5:01pm – Tara tidies up the kitchen area. Taylor rinses dishes at the sink.

5:02pm – Customers 1&2 leave.

5:05pm – Taylor checks on customers then cleans off the table customers 1&2 left. Tara restocks condiment containers from the fridge.

5:09pm – Customer 3 leaves. Taylor cleans off the table he left. Tara continues working on kitchen duties.

5:12 – Taylor stands around near the register chatting with customers 4&5.

5:19pm – Customers 4&5 hand Taylor a card to pay for their order. Taylor takes it to the register to process their payment. She then clears away their empty plates.

5:21pm – Taylor exchanges smaller bills from the tip bucket for larger bills from the register. She then continues standing near by chatting with customers.

5:22pm-5:30pm – Tara goes into the back supply room while checking her phone. Customers 4&5 get ready to leave.


Summary:

-Should be working on tablet duties and prep, instead of standing/sitting around on the phone.
